I had a great opportunity the other day in Aoyama to enjoy entertainment by Kyotaru Yanagiya, one of the greatest Rakugo tellers, and his lecture regarding Rakugo culture together with some back stories of his career which we could never imagine from his play.
Rakugo is Japanese traditional sit-down comedy in which a storyteller wearing Kimono creates an imaginary drama.
Just two meters away he was to show us his skillful Rakugo play!
Goose bumps, laughter, laughter, laughter and almost all mascara on my eyelash was washed away with tears.
Small goals I set up that day.
- Obtain several types of conducts and behaviors from practicing Japanese traditional dancing.
- Create opportunities to entertain in the community I live.
- Ascertain your strong point and streach it out.
- Always train your brain.
