PRODUCTION SCHEDULE PAUSED
I never believed I would be writing this. We have overcome a lot of things over the last few months to get so close to the shoot of "We Which Remain", which was to take place from March 22nd. However, I realize that we are now at a tipping point with the coronavirus causing a large number of television shows and films to halt production.
This is why for the time being, having consulted with our producer Christin, we have made the painful decision to postpone the "We Which Remain" shoot until the current virus crisis is under control.
Continuing to shoot under the current situation would present too much of risk to our cast and crew and also to society at large as it would involve close to 30 people commuting across Tokyo every day from different locations.
This means that we may not be able to meet our initial deadlines regarding perks including the completion of the movie by the end of the year. We totally understand if that means you require a refund and you can either request one via Indiegogo or reach out to us via the "contact" button on your contribution page.
Our hope is that the current actions being taken by health organizations and governments allow us to begin shooting as soon as possible. We will update you once there is a change in circumstances.
Meanwhile, we hope you all stay safe and thank you again for your support.
