私のナレーションについても触れていただきました。
「確かに露出度の高いシーンはあるが、それは民話における慣習の下で考え抜かれたものである。つまり実写で描く仁光の旅路は、羊皮紙に描かれた絵やアニメーションを用いたカットバックが久藤今日子のナレーションと相まって、忘れ去られた古の神話を読んでいるような懐かしさを醸し出すのだ。」

Norihiro Niwatsukino’s "Suffering of Ninko" was introduced by ASIAN FILM FANS in an article "Support Physical Media: 5 Interesting Titles from Third Window Films". My narrative part was mentioned, too.
"Indeed, there are scenes of nakedness but these are thoughtfully framed within the folk tale convention. Namely, the live-action adventures of Ninko are cross-cut with parchment drawings and animations which, combined with the Qyoko Kudo’s voiceover, create an atmosphere of intimacy, as if we are reading an old, forgotten myth."
