レイクチャンプレインウィークリーの表紙になりました Making a cover of Lake Champlain Weekly

ニューヨーク州レイクチャンプレインの情報誌『Lake Champlain Weekly』2017年4月17日版の表紙が、Hamish Downie監督作『Silence』で飾られました。

写真で能面をかぶっているのは共演の早川知子さん、もう一人が私です。

初めての紙面の表紙になったことはもちろんですが、以前に参加した Paul Leeming監督作『An American Piano』も選考されたこの映画祭に再び選ばれたこと、そして映画祭のみならずLake Champion WeeklyがHamish監督の世界観、メッセージに賛同し、取り上げてくれたこと、何よりこの紙面をご覧になった方が（きっと）映画祭に足を運んでくれるであろうことが嬉しくてなりません。

Of course, it's wonderful that we could be a cover of Lake Champion.  And being chosen by the film festival which had chosen Paul Leeming's "An American Piano" that I joined two years ago, being appraised of Hamish's message by the regional magazine, its reaching to those subscribers in New York State, and the potential effect of getting more people to the film festival through the magazine, are WONDERFUL!!
